Theodore Twombly is a lonely, introverted, depressed man who writes letters for a professional writer’s enterprise and letters for people who cannot write their own personal letters. Unhappy about his impending divorce from his childhood sweetheart, Katherine, t-bag buys an operating system upgrade that includes a virtual assistant with artificial intelligence designed to adapt and evolve.
In my opinion the future of technology has a cap, which I believe to be the capabilities and needs of human lives. As we try to make AI has humanly as possible, we are trying to give them as much purpose as humans. The unique part is humans and born with purpose and AI has to be programmed with purpose. So, at some point we must realize the only way you can be a living thing, is to be a living thing. So for me, I see technology is as inauthentic as can be. It is taking the real thoughts, behavior, experiences, and word of humans and are programmed to use it as data to be as real as they possibly can be.
I feel like tech can only be as real as we make it to be.
